Cook noodles in a large pot of salted water according to package instructions then drain and fill pot with cold water to stop the cooking process and keep noodles from sticking together. So delicious and not soupy like other lasagna recipes turn out. As soon as the noodles are cooked through, drain them into a colander and transfer quickly to a pot of cold water to stop their cooking. Take care and hugs to your sweet daughter. But, you can substitute the egg and can leave it out altogether and your lasagna will be fine but may not cut into perfect pieces.
